We produce our jewelry exclusively in Southern Germany in Pforzheim and the surrounding area - a city that has years of tradition and knowledge in jewelry making. Only our Fair-Trade-pieces are produced in a goldsmith's shop in the beautiful north of Germany. AAs you may know, instead of manufacturing large batches, every jewelry item is made-to-order in South Germany, making sure no resources or precious metals are being used without a clear purpose.
Our Vermeil-jewelry is made out of 24k gold - which is the purest gold - and a thickness of 2,5-5 micron (the industry standard is just 1,5 micron).
Firstly, every single jewelry piece gets casted (meaning liquid sterling silver is poured into a mould!) and after that personally hand-finished by our goldsmiths. The last step is called galvanization: At this stage, your jewelry gets purified in silver or gold (we use recycled gold, melted in Belgium), gloss improved and its durability strengthened, so it is flawless for years to come.
Our 14k solid gold pieces are often used as engagement or wedding rings as they’re made to last a lifetime, just like the love they seal. With their ageless designs they will definitely be an eye catcher and what’s more? They’re also waterproof, by means they are quite literally a lifelong partner as you can let them on whilst showering, going swimming etc.
The Fair Bands Collection is crafted from 14K solid Fairtrade-Gold sourced from certified mines in the South of Peru and responsibly sourced diamonds. Together with makers from Hamburg and Fairtrade, we want to help make mining gold safer and fairer. All jewelry is made-to-order and from mine to you, each gram of gold is transparently traced. What is the material of our Fair Bands collection made of?
58.5% of the material is Fairtrade certified fine gold.
The remaining 41.5% consists of copper and recycled silver, which are sourced from RJC certified suppliers.
We love incorporating bling into our designs. We use both Swarovski crystals and gemstones. We use gems that are fairly sourced from different countries in South Asia, South America, and East Africa.
Once sourced they are cut in Germany and Sri Lanka. We value transparency and therefore only work with partners that have built a sustainable, socially responsible, and traceable supply chain that helps support local communities. The Swarovski crystals are precision-cut crystal glass gems that are crafted in Austria.
JJacko Wusch candles are carefully hand-produced in Berlin, Germany, with 100% sustainable resources. The scent results from the best essential oils, extracted from natural and pure resources. For production, we only use high quality oils from verified suppliers.
The aromatherapeutic effect unfolds via your sense of smell and strengthens your body and mind balance.Rapeseed wax is a fast growing raw material and fully biodegradable. The cultivation areas of rapeseed are strongly present in the EU and guarantee a local supply.

We ship with DHL, DHL Express and the destination country’s national post service for international orders. Our fair-trade pieces will be shipped with UPS only. The corresponding shipping costs are displayed in the checkout.
Within Germany, shipping is free for orders over 100 EUR.
Orders within the EU and international orders (outside of Europe) with a total over 250,00 EUR are free of shipping costs.
Orders within the EU with a value below 150,00 EUR can as well be shipped with the respective national postal service.

Standard shipping to Germany takes around 2-4 business days, about 3-4 business days to Austria, about 4-6 business days to the UK, about 8 days to the US and Australia and about three weeks to other countries - if everything goes smoothly!
Express shipping (via DHL Express) takes 2-4 business days worldwide.
In busier times, shipping duration can vary and delays on the courier and connection courier ends (DHL, German Post, Royal Mail, USPS etc.) can happen. Although we do our best, we can therefore not guarantee our minimum shipping estimates!
Keep in mind that shipping times add to the production time of your order (approx. 16-18 business days* for jewelry). Candles and products in limited availability are ready to ship within 1-2 days (if not otherwise indicated in the shop).

It depends. Orders are tax-free within the EU. DHL Express orders will be delivered without having to pay taxes. Swiss orders shipped with DHL Express are tax-free as well. Orders to the US (order value above 1000 USD) and Canada (depending on which state you're living in, you have to pay a local import tax, directly invoiced by the Canadian Post. This means roughly 5% and it might include a handling fee by Canadian Post) can be charged taxes. For the mentioned exceptions, your local post carrier will charge you the import tax.
Returns & exchanges
Yes, of course! You have a 14 day right to return your order. We provide German and Austrian orders with a return label. International customers cover the return costs themselves.
Here you can request a return label or an exchange.
The return is free for German and Austrian delivery addresses. EU returns (including Switzerland and UK) can choose a DHL return label. The costs will be shown after you fill in the return form and will be deducted off your refund. Non-EU orders can also register for a return and will receive a separate e-mail with the return address afterwards (instead of the label).
Excluded from returns are engravable and personalized pieces.
Furthermore, refunds for orders that include gift cards will firstly be refunded to the gift card used. The refund of any further outstanding balance will then be made to the payment method selected. Thus, customers have their already paid gift card back and can use it on stilnest.com! There will be no cash payment of gift cards.
Yes, most likely! Please check the option exchange in our return portal. The return is free for customers with a German or Austrian delivery address, you can find further information here in the FAQ.
EU-customers can also register their return! The difference is that these returns are not free.
EU customers have the possibility to choose between two options. That’s either a provided DHL return label (see prices for EU countries in the return portal) or an independent return (please reach out to us via
firstname.lastname@example.org, we will provide the return shipping address via email). This grants an automatic and easy process for our customers!

The repair services small, medium, large fix and restoration are for jewelry pieces that are usually older than 6 months-2 years and show signs of worn-off plating due to normal wear and tear, developed tarnishing due to contact with water, cosmetics or show damages such as bending, lost gemstones, broken chains due to mistreatment and such.
In total, it will take between 3-6 weeks, door to door. Depending on your shipping location and the return tariff you choose, your return to us may take 1-2 weeks. As soon as we receive your jewelry piece, we will get right on the repair which may take up to two weeks. As soon as your jewelry piece is repaired, we will send you a shipping notification with a tracking number. Shipping the piece back to you may take 1-2 weeks depending on your location.
After booking the service and choosing a return shipping method, we’ll email you with all the details on how to return your jewelry piece to us. You can also find more about our repair service here.
Currently, we can only offer to repair stilnest pieces.
A small fix costs €10, a medium fix costs €15, a large fix costs €25 and restoring the piece costs €40. The costs are as is, 100% goldsmith work. You can find the shipping costs depending on your delivery country at checkout. Returning the piece to us may cost between €5-20 - please make sure to choose an insured and trackable return tariff if you decide to do the return yourself. We can also help you with your return - just add a return label to check out.
The repair services that come with a fee are for jewelry pieces that are older than 6 months-2 years and show signs of worn-off plating due to normal wear and tear, developed tarnishes due to contact with water or cosmetics or show damages such as bending, lost gemstones, broken chains due to mistreatment. Worn-off plating happens naturally in the course of time and is a natural characteristic of the precious metals. If your piece has a different defect, it may fall under our warranty. No. When checking your creditworthiness, Klarna does an internal check, but this has no influence on your creditworthiness. In any case, we recommend that you pay the invoice on time.

Furthermore, our fair trade jewelry will be made and shipped separately via UPS after 10-working days on a regular basis.
