The Fair Bands Collection is crafted from 14K solid Fairtrade-Gold sourced from certified mines in the South of Peru and responsibly sourced diamonds. Together with makers from Hamburg and Fairtrade, we want to help make mining gold safer and fairer. All jewelry is made-to-order and from mine to you, each gram of gold is transparently traced. What is the material of our Fair Bands collection made of? 58.5% of the material is Fairtrade certified fine gold. The remaining 41.5% consists of copper and recycled silver, which are sourced from RJC certified suppliers.

For the creation with certified 585 Fairtrade gold (English: 14k Gold), we use gold from certified mines in southern Peru. This benefits small-scale miners and the environment. Legal and traceable mining with fair gold prices not only secures the incomes of the communities, but also ensures environmentally friendly practices in gold extraction. Our Fair Bands consist of 58.5% Fairtrade-certified fine gold and 41.5% copper as well as recycled silver from certified partners who are members of the Responsible Jewellery Council.

Diamonds are made of pure carbon, arranged in a crystal structure that makes them the hardest natural substance on Earth. This incredible hardness allows them to resist scratches, with only another diamond able to leave a mark.
Formed deep within the Earth’s mantle, around 100 miles below the surface, diamonds are brought closer to us by volcanic eruptions. Most diamonds are over a billion years old, formed long before humans existed.
Ancient Greeks believed diamonds were splinters of fallen stars, while Romans thought they were tears of the gods. Today, diamonds are prized for their ability to reflect light in a dazzling array of rainbow colors, known as ""fire.""
STONE CARE:
Keeping Diamonds Radiant
Clean with warm, soapy water and a soft brush. Ultrasonic and steam cleaners are safe for diamonds but might damage weaker settings. Store separately from other gemstones to avoid scratches.
Nature Doesn’t Do Copies. The stone you get won’t be an exact color match to the photo. Natural gemstones vary in shade and tone—that’s just how nature works.
